Valencia CF Femenino have recruited 22-year-old Polish midfielder Alicja Materek (7 November 2001) to their squad until 30 June 2026.
The player joins from Czarni Sosnowiec (2020-2024) in Poland's top-flight domestic competition, where, despite her youth, she has won every competition available as the most valuable player in both the league and two cup competitions

She is a pacey and technically sound midfielder, who can operate as a winger and inside midfielder, with a remarkable finishing ability, a selfless all-rounder and teammate.
Proud, grateful and excited
Alicja Materek: ‘In life, there are three important things, decision, opportunity and change. You have to make a decision and seize the opportunity if you want to change something in your life. The moment of change in my life as a footballer has come, I am proud, grateful and excited! I want to be part of this family and I will do my best to represent the Valencia CF colours with dignity. Amunt!
